Description

Rental, delivery, set up, maintenance, and removal of a portable kitchen facility capable of providing service to 500 hundred soldiers. The temporary facility must be completely wired for electrical operation and contain water and waste colle ction systems. Maintenance of all equipment must be included. Performance Period: 05 Oct 01 -- 30 Jan 02. Location: Bldg 229, Rhine Ordonance Barracks, Kaiserslautern, Germany. The facility shall be leak proof and in good condition. The facility will be of a size and design to accomodate multiple foo d service personnel easy access to all sections of the facility. The facility must be installed/positioned in a manner as to prevent any movement of the facilitly. At a minimum the facility will include a 4 foot flat and 4 foot tilting grills, twin gallon tilting kettle on stands, and two 24 rack ovens. The facility must also contain cold and dry storage for two days ra tions minimum. The contractor will provide all electrical and water (both clean and waste) connections with the facility. Th e facility will have only one connection from external sources. The facility will have a power distribution system, which wi ll provide for disruption of power to each individual section of the facility for electrical shut off in the event of an eme rgency and likewise, water shut off valves for the water into each section.
