- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites bids for Rehabilitation of the Dyer House, Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge, Biddeford Pool, Maine. The work includes indoor and outside renovations to an 1800-era Cape residence and conversion to a residence/public classroom facility. Work includes lead paint removal, complete extermination of the entire building, replacement of deteriorated sills, mortar granite foundation walls, new septic system, site clearing and landscaping, window repairs, wheel chair ramp, new restroom addition, kitchen renovation and appliances, plumbing and electrical systems, boiler and heating system, fire alarm, power and wiring, lighting, and incidental related work. The work will begin this winter, 2001. Estimated range of the cost of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Issue date is o/a October 15, 2001.
