Description

The modification is issued for the installation of the ARINC 429 into the Embedded Global Positioning System and Inertial Navigation System (EGI) is planned as a sole source acquisition with Honeywell, Sensor and Guidance Products, 13350 US Hwy 19N, Clearwater, FL 34624. The Government currently owns and has provided as GFP, Honeywell 9.8" EGI's. The contract was awarded to Honeywell, Inc. on 30 May 2001. The period of performance is until 14 December 2001. The highly specialized services required consist of environmental, electronmagnetic and software testing as prescribed by ADS-37A and MIL-STD 810E. The modification will change the 9.8 inch EGI configuration. This includes an ARINC 429 compatible motherboard and one ARINC 429 card. Honeywell will update the Test Plan and Execution to reflect new configuration. The Request for Proposal will not be available via EDI in the Interagency Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) and Federal Business Opportunies.
