The Walla Walla District s web page (http://www.nww.usace.army.mil/ebs.AdvertisedSolicitations.asp) may be used; however, it is requested that registration be confirmed with either a fax or an email. Th e Government cannot guarantee a bidder will make it on the bidders list if registration is completed using only the web page. DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The work to be performed is for the cont ractor to design, manufacture, shop test, and deliver a complete set of stator coils and accessories for the existing 135,000 KW generators at Lower Granite Dam, Units 1-3, Snake River, Garfield County, Washington. Optional work requirements will be for t he contractor to install the coils in a generator and for the contractor to manufacture and deliver a second complete set of stator coils. Three hundred and thirty days will be given to complete the basic requirements. The optional work may be required a t any time up to 4 years after date of award. ADMIN INFO: This solicitation will be competed on an Unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333611. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. If a large business is selected for this contract it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on that portion of the work it intends to subcontract. The intended subcontracting goals are that a minimum of 61.4% of the contractor s intended subcontract amount be placed with small businesses including 9.1% with small disadvantaged businesses. The plan must contain a goal of 5.0% with women-owned small businesses, 2.5% with historically underutilized businesses (HUBZone), and 3.5% with Service-Disable Veteran-Owned small businesses. The plan is not required with the submittal of a bid. Any contract resulting from this advertisement will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. All responsible business sources may submit an offer, which may be considered.
