Background "THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF AN RFP ISSUANCE. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR ITEMS CONSIDERED COMMERCIAL IN NATURE AND ANY RESULTANT CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED IAW FAR PART 12, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F33601-02-XXXX, is a Request For Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and imcorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This requirement has two (2) line items as set forth below: 1) One (1) Preventative Maintenance per year. 2) Four (4) Emergency Visits per year. All Maintenance Calls shall be on an As-Needed Basis. The Period of Performance shall be from 1 Oct 01 through 30 Sep 02. Performance shall take place at: The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Building 654, 2941 P Street, Room 136, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. The following Clauses and Provisions apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items (Technical Capability, Price, Past Performance) award will be based on overall best value to the Government; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; FAR 212 -5, Contract Terms and Conditions Requirement to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (APR 2001) (DEVIATION); FAR 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations (MAY 2001) Alternate I (OCT 2000) fill-in (a)(1) is 334516, fill-in (2) is 500 employees; FAR 52.222 -22, Previous Contracts and Compliance Reports (FEB 1999); FAR 42.222-25, Affirmative Action Compliance (FEB 1984); FAR 52.252-1, Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (FEB 1998); FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference (FEB 1998) fill-in http://farsite.hill.af.mil/; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer -- Central Contractor Registration; and DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Excutive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (APR 2001) (DEVIATION). The offeror shall return a copy of FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.219 -1, FAR 52.222-22 and FAR 52.222-25 along with Present/Past Performance Reference List citing the Company Name, Contract Number, Point of Contact, Phone Number and Dollar Value of the Contract.
