Description

This is a notice of intent from the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD to issue a contract modification to Contract N00019-96-C-0054 to the Bell-Boeing Joint Venture Team for Continuing CRAfT (Cost Reduction Affordability Team) support. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The Bell-Boeing Team is the designer, developer and sole producer of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft. Bell-Boeing is the only source that possesses the engineering data, technical skills, and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, operation, maintenance and support characteristics of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft. This notice is for informational purposes only. Note 22 is applicable to this synopsis (sole source).
