Description

Solicitation Notice: The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI McKean), located in Bradford, Pennsylvania, requires Dentist Services for the inmate population. The Contractor must be a graduate of an accredited dental school and hold an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Pennsylvania. The services are to be provided in accordance with Federal laws, and are to be performed at the FCI McKean dental laboratory. The Contractor will provide routine dental care to the inmate patients. FCI McKean will furnish all routinely needed dental supplies, and all reports will remain property of the prison. The project involves work inside the secure perimeter of the Federal Correctional Institution. The performance period will be the base year and the possibility of four option years. This is a small business set-aside, restricted to small businesses eligible to receive award. A security investigation/clearance is required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after October 16, 2001, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government's best interest.
