Description

The District of South Carolina, United States Marshals Service, plans to pircure hospital care as required for federal prisoners in the Lexington, SC area. Serices provided are: Emergency treatment, inpatient/outpatient care, any and all medical and surgical needs, acceptance of Medicare rates from the Lexington Medical Center, 2720 Sunset Blvd., Lexington, S.C. 29169 The requirement consists of Lexington County Jail utilizing this facility for convenience and availability. Lexington Medical Center is the only party known to the District of South Carolina that can meet the above requirements. The jail transports prisoners to the hospital after notifying the U.S. Marshals Service. It is advantageous as we do not have to take on this responsibility of going to the jail and transporting. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. However, if any other interested party believes that it can meet the requirements, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The capability statement and any other information furnished must be in writing, and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Marshals Service to determine if the party can meet all of the foregoing requirements. Offers must also be accompanied by descriptive literature, warranties, and/or other information that demonstrates that the offeror is capable of successfully performing the requirement.
