- Description
- Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required for the installation of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) wrap below the existing platform and installation of rails. Demolish concrete deck and steel rail, install new rail and place concrete. Access from water required to install wrap. All work to be performed on the south end of the Shiplift Transfer Platform (STP), USCG Yard Baltimore, MD. The NAICS is 234930 (SIC Code 1629) size standard $27.5M. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Act. However, FAR Clause 52.219-23 Notice of Price Adjustment for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns and 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation for HUBZone Small Business Concerns may be applicable (This clause allows a price adjustment factor for small disadvantaged business concerns. SIC Codes and their appropriate regions for the SDB adjustments can be found at www.arnet.gov/References/sdbadjustments.htm.) The estimated range is between $100K -- $250K. The performance period is 105 DANTP. (Work at the site shall be limited to 30 consecutive days.) The Bids will be due o/a 45 calendar days from this posting or o/a 11/16/01. A Bid Bond is required.
