Description
This action advertises the intent of the Government to process an add-on action to contract SP0900-01-D-9703. The list of NSNs subject to this action can be viewed on the internet and downloaded from the DSCC Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). Look under the heading of "corporate projects" These NSNs are from the 5920 and 5985 classes primarily, and offers may be made by any responsible source. All offerors are required to submit a price and delivery for a five year term (one basic year and four option years) on items of interest. Offers on this project must be made to Pete Joyce at DSCC. Submittals may be by Email (Peter_Joyce@dscc.dla.mil) or fax (614-693-4230) or Mail (DSCC-CCL/P.O. Box 16704/Columbus, OH 43216-5010). A spreadsheet of the NSNs and approved cages and part numbers and estimated annual demand quantitites can be provided upon request. CBD Notes 9, 12, and 26 apply. ( X ) Small Business size standard is 1000 employees. ( ) Solicitation not available until 15 days after published in the CBD. ( ) Written requests for drawings are to be submitted to Defense Construction Supply Center, ATTN: DCSC- VTRD, P.O. Box 3990, Columbus, OH 43216-5000, by Fax 614/692-2998, or call 614/692-2344. Requests should include the RFP number, opening/closing date. PR number (YPC or ZPC) and NSN, if applicable. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DCSC. ( X ) Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. ( X ) The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 4 years. ( ) This is an unrestricted acquisition with a 10% preference for SDB concerns. ( ) An additional approximate equal quantity is being reserved for small business concerns. ( ) This notice does not solicit additional proposals but is issued for the benefit of prospective subcontractors. ( ) Request for unpriced technical proposals using Two-Step Sealed Bid procedures (FAR 14.5). ( ) It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities make direct contact with firm(s) listed. ( ) Place of performance unknown. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance is unknown. Therefore, to achieve standardization solicitations will be issued only to the following firms (names and addresses follow): ( X ) This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). ( X ) This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within Federal Supply Class(es). ( ) This acquisition is limited to eligible 8(a) concerns only. SIC code is ________. Eligibility to participate may be restricted to firms in either the development or transitional stage. Interested 8(a) concerns should request copies of this solicitation as soon as possible, since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the Section 8(a) program. ( X ) While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based upon a combination of price, proposed delivery and past performance as described in this solicitation.
