Description

The Army requires a contract for Garbage/Refuse and Litter Collection and Disposal at Fort Stewart, Georgia. The services shall include but not necessarily be limited to the Collection of Garbage, Refuse and Yard Trimmings from Family Housing, Fort Stewar t, Georgia, and disposed of it in the Fort Stewart Sanitary Landfill. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid that will be considered. The SIC is 4953 and the NAICS is 562111. Services shall commence of 1 March 2002 or within 10 calendar days after contract award, whichever is later, and continue through 28 February 2003. This contract contains options to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional one-(1) year periods. Bid opening time and date will be established and placed on t he solicitation at time of issue (See Block #10). Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available.
