Description

Description: The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, materials, and supervision necessary to provide, Schedule I (Outbound Services), Schedule II (Inbound Services), and Schedule III (Intra-City and Intra-Area Moves), packing, containerization and local drayage of personal property shipments for Holloman AFB, New Mexico to include: Area I Otero County, Area II Lincoln County, Area III Chavez County, Area IV Eddy County and Area V Lea County. Proposals will be accepted for -individual areas or multiple areas. Awards may be made for individual areas or multiple areas. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Performance Work Statement based on Defense Transportation Regulation, Personal Property, #DOD 4500.9R, Part IV, Aug 99. Period of Performance: Basic (1 Jan 2002 thru 31 Dec 2002) plus two (2) option years. First Option Year (1 Jan 2003 thru 31 Dec 2003) and Second Option Year (1 Jan 2004 thru 31 Dec 2004). The solicitation/Request for Proposal (RFP) is a total Small Business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 4783, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 488991 and the Small Business Size Standard is $18.5 mil. All responsible small business contractors are encouraged to participate. This solicitation, will be available to view and download on the government Federal Business Opportunity Web page located at www.eps.gov. This solicitation will be issued on or about 23 Oct 2001. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All amendments will be electronically posted to the same location. A copy of the solicitation will be available free of charge at the Contracting Office (Holloman AFB NM). This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items. All prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) at www.ccr.dlsc.dls.mil prior to the anticipated date of award. =20
