Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0009, applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25 and DCN 20000606. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334413. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business. The following is a sole-source to OPS, P.O. Box 377, Shingletown, CA 96088. This is a total small business set-aside. The requirement is for: CLIN 0001 a quantity of 130 each, Suppressors & Muzzle Break for the MKA-1 SPR Long Format Rifle. Final inspection will be at NSWC, Crane, IN. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Delivery will be 45 days after award.
