Description

NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for 66 units of the following item: Chassis, with the following description: 3U Rackmount Black ATX format case with 420W PS Dimensions: 19" X 5.25" X 24.4" The chassis is to be tested to accommodate the size and power requirements of a Tyan Thunder S2462 Motherboard with two AMD Athlon MP Processors This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 499 and 541710, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DOC9. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. RFQ 935-32932-0000/901 will be sent to interested parties, per E-Mail or telephone request. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".
