Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared=20 in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as=20 supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This=20 announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not=20 be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Proposals=20 are hereby being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. =20 Refer to solicitation as RFQ N00140-02-Q-H014. This solicitation document and=20 incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27 and=20 DFARS 2001213. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the=20 applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at=20 these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.dtic.mil/dfars. A firm fixed price=20 contract is contemplated. The NAICS is 721110 and the Small Business Standard=20 is 100. The FISC Detachment Philadelphia requests responses from qualified=20 sources capable of providing a total of 180 nights of lodging in single occupancy rooms in New York City, which are expected to be used for a 4 day=20 training course during the period from 24 Oct 01 through 27 Oct 01. Lodging=20 must be provided along the following routes: (1) In Manhattan on or south of=20 110th Street, (2) Within 4 blocks of a subway station and 2 blocks of=20 restaurant that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner, (3) Continental breakfast=20 service must be provided at no additional cost, and (4) Required AAA Rating of=20 3 diamond or above. The following FAR provision and clauses are applicable to=20 this procurement: 52.212-1, NOTE: Offeror's attention is specifically directed=20 to paragraph (b)(11) of this provision. OFFERORS THAT FAIL TO FURNISH REQUIRED=20 REPRESENTATIONS OR INFORMATION, OR REFECT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE=20 SOLICITATION MAY BE EXCLUDED FROM CONSIDERATION. 52.212-2, 52.212-3 ALT I;=20 52.212-4, 52.212-5 including the following additional FAR clauses/provisions=20 52.203-6, 52.219-8, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, and=20 DFARS 252.212-7001 including the following additional DFARS clauses/provisions=20 252.212-7001, 252.225-7012, and 252.225-7036.
