Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, and supervision necessary to Replace Chillers at the Kenneth B. Keating Federal Building, Rochester, NY in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work to include, but not limited to, removal and replacement of existing chillers, cooling towers, pumps and associated piping and minor electrical work associated with the equipment. In addition, there is structural and site work associated with rigging cooling towers to the roof, modifying the cooling tower support framing and rigging the chillers into the basement. This procurement is offered on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The IFB will include a 10% Price Evaluation Preference (PEP) for HUBZone small businesses pursuant to FAR 52.219-4 and an additional 10% Price Evaluation Adjustment (PEA) for small disadvantaged businesses pursuant to FAR 52.219-23, Alt. II from the states of CT, IA, KS, MA, ME, MN, MO, NE, NH, ND, RI, SD, and VT. The applicable NAICS code is 235110, size standard $11.5 Million. Contract performance period is 150 calendar days. Solicitation issue date is on or about October 9, 2001 with Bid Opening Date on or about November 13, 2001. The complete solicitation will be available only on CD-ROM.
