Description: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, permits, license, and supervision to access abate and dispose of asbestos containing materials in numerous locations within the WJBD Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Columbia, SC, under a job order contract (JOC), in accordance with all contract specifications. Specifications for individual disciplines will issued on an as needed basis as determined by the intentions of the Job Order. The estimated construction range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 for the base year plus 3 one-year renewal option periods that may be exercised at the option of the Government. The total duration of the contract shall not exceed 4 years. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. NAICS number 56291 with a size standard of $11.5 million applies to this procurement. The solicitation will be issued o/a 10/9/01. Request for hardcopy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE HONORED.
