"The Avon Park Air Force Range, Avon Park FL, intends to offer Chip-N-Saw and Pulpwood Sales on the Avon Park Range. Work will consist of harvesting all pine trees designated for removal from approximately 720 acres, containing approximately 11,000 tons of pine timber. There are approximately10 harvest areas, consisting of 26 to 35 years of age on old slash pine plantations yielding an estimated 75% chip-n-saw and 25% pulpwood. This is notification to interested parties. The solicitation number for this announcement is F09607-02-T-0001. The solicitation will be posted 15 October 2001. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this sale is 113310 (2411, SIC).
