Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to purchase 8 each Battery Charger Analyzers, P/N 121754-01, which includes CASP/2000H(M) transport case and manuals from CHRISTIE ELECTRIC, a Division of Marathon Power Technologies Company, 8301 Imperial Drive, Waco, TX 76712-6588 to support its Joint Tactical Info Distribution System (JTIDS). The Battery Charger Analyzer is CHRISTIE's Model PP-8437/P/N 121754-001. The Battery charger analyzers were previously purchased from CHRISTIE ELECTRIC. The Marine Coprs is the Primay Inventory Control Activity (PICA) for this equipment and both the Marine Corps and the Navy procured CASP 200H(M) to support their JTIDS program. The Air Force, as lead service for the JTIDS, tested various battery chargers and the CASP 2000H(M) was the only battery charger capable of adequately charging the JTIDS battery.
