Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to issue an order to 1st Virtual Communications for the purchase of 1) CUseeMe videoware (FV-92212-10) for 50 users, 2) Continuous presence add-on module (FV-92201-00), and 3) One year maintenance for both. Support and Maintenance includes delivery of all new releases, upgrades, revisions, telephone/email support and consulting at no additional cost. 1st Virtual Communications is the sole provider of the required version of the CUseeMe videoware. No resellers are authorized to sell this version of the product. Additionally, CUseeMe is the only firm that can provide maintenance of this software because it is proprietary code owned, operated and licensed by 1st Virtual Communications. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No award will be made on the basis of any responses to this advertisement. All interested parties may respond in writing with information on their product and services with sufficient technical and cost information to allow for a detailed evaluation to the Contract Specialist, Constance D. Fortune at the Defense Information Systems Agency, Contracting Operations, ATTN: AQ112, 701 S. Courthouse Road, Arlington, VA 22204-2199 no later than October 15, 2001. No telephonic responses will be accepted. No additional synopsis will be issued.
