Description

Air Force Research Laboratory, Sensors Directorate (AFRL/SN) is soliciting research proposals for the development of a MEDUSA system. The objective of this acquisition effort is to develop and demonstrate an affordable, multi-functional, electro-optical (EO) system. The proposed MEDUSA system must support the development of affordable, supportable, highly compact subsystems with conformal, low observable apertures for passive sensing and active laser functions. The envisioned capability would support wide fields of view allowing full coverage around the aircraft with a maximum of six aperture locations.
