Description

The purposes of this solicitation amendment are to extend the RFQ closing date; make miscellaneous changes/corrections and provide responses to questions submitted by potential offerors. Accordingly: 1. Standard Form (SF) 1449, SOLICITATION/CONTRACT/ORDER FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS, Block 8 -- Offer Due Date/Local Time, is amended as follows: DELETE: 09/21/2001 INSERT: 10/19/2001 Be advised: 15:00 is the military equivalent to 3:00 P.M., EST. The full text of the Amendment and the chart containing the questions submitted by potential offerors and the IRS responses can be obtained from the IRS Procurement website on Tuesday, October 9, 2001, after 12 Noon. The website address is http://www.procurement.irs.treas.gov. During the offer preparation phase, potential offerors shall submit questions via e-mail to helen.d.carmona@irs.gov. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Any and all RFQ amendments will be announced in FebBizOps and the Commerce Business Daily and posted to the IRS procurement web-site. The electronic submission of offers IS NOT permitted.
