Description

The Contracts Department of Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC), San Diego intends to procure, in accordance with FAR Part 12 -- Acquisition of Commercial Items, various types of fasteners (to include thread, form, fit and material of all fasteners, nuts, washers, lockwashers, locknuts, threaded studs, etc.). All fasteners must conform to required specifications. Contractor must have in force a Quality Assurance program recongized and in conformance to ISO 9000 or OS9000. Contractor will be required to supply all storage bins, labeling, and shelving for fasteners. In addition to supplying items, Contractor will be required to maintain/manage inventories. Specific information will be provided in the RFP. Time of delivery shall be same or next day delivery, FOB Destination, Shipboard Intermediate Maintenance Area (SIMA), Naval Station, San Diego, CA. This procurement is a n unrestricted action. Contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract for one base year with two, 1-year options.
