Description

The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command proposes to acquire on an other than full and open competitive basis Signature Collection Effort in support of the Apache Longbow Program. Tasks to be performed to obtain a VisMod target, and assess its application for trainiing AH-64D aircrews. This will entail purchasing the target, collecting data on the signature of this target, and investigating potential signature modifications of the target. Contractor shall submit a final report of the results of this effo rt in accordance with DI-MISC-80508. The Government intends to utilize a Firm Fixed Priced award of a delivery order to Contract DAAH23-99-G-0012 to a sole source contractor. This is a sole source requirement to Longbow Limited Liability Company, Commerci al and Government Entity, 578 South Semoran Blvd., Orlando; FL. Only LBLLC possesses the technical expertise and experience necessary to execute this FCR Target Signature Collection. Under the authority and Justification for Other Than Full and Open Compe tition of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation will be issued. Interested parties should identify themselves in writing to the Contracting Officer. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
