Description

NAICS Code 233320. Work includes, but is not limited to: Remove existing slab to structure block wall, install new drywall partition and finish, install steel studs with wire security mesh above existing ceiling, install Government-furnished carpet, install new electrical outlets and all necessary conduit and wiring, provide and install new door frames and doors. All work will be performed at the Federal Building/US Post Office/Courthouse, Pierre, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 60 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued November 1, 2001, with offers due on November 21, 2001. Anticipated award date is December 1, 2001. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. The solicitation will be made available electronically at the FedBizOpps website on the Internet at http://www.eps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading documents. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. Note: the solicitation incorporates drawings which are not available electronically. Interested parties may request the drawings by writing or faxing the Contracting Officer. The request must include the contractor's business name, street address, and phone number. A limited number of paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. Requests for paper copies must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer at PO Box 19, Aberdeen, SD 57402. Fax requests will be accepted at 605-226-7305. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses only in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. A site visit is recommended.
