Description

Plans and specifications will be issued on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Description of Work: The work consists of the construction of the Squadron Operations Building 4421 and the New Munitions Storage Building. A storage building (#4420) will be demolished at the rear of Building 4421. The Squadrons Operations Building 4421 will involve renovating approximately 6,700 square feet and providing a new addition of approximately 9,900 square feet. The New Munitions Storage Building will be constructed in the Munitions area and will be an earth-covered magazine of 2,242 square feet, box type, (as per Hayman Standard 421-80-06). The estimated cost of the project is between 1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Network Analysis will be required. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988." This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will also be available on or about October 30, 2001 on the internet at http://www.sas.usace.army.mil/ebs/. Notification of amendments will be through use of the Internet. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided.
