Description

Due to significant competitive advantage and schedule constraints, the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville intends to make a sole-source, commercial items requirements type contract pursuant to FAR Part 13.501 and FAR Part 16.503 to Safety West, 2500 South Decker Lake, Blvd #9, West Valley City, Utah 84119, for Demilitarization Protective (DPE) Suits, Kappler Responder Level A Suits (Kappler #41581-7U) with MSA pass thru (MSA#C497408). The estimated quantity for the period through 30 Sep 2003 is 3120 each. These suits are in support of the Lewisite Neutralization Process at the Chemical Agent Munitions Disposal System (CAMDS), near Stockton, UT. The standard industrial code is 5085. This synopsis announcing intent of a sole-source award is not a request for proposals. Businesses that can provide the required items are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response which includes as a minimum the proposed credentials, qualifications, pricing data, past experience, proof of compatibility with existing equipment, and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. All responsible sources may respond to this synopsis, and any such responses may be considered by this agency.
