Description

Reference Amendment 03 dated October 2, 2001. The solicitation is further amended to establish a closing date and to clarify the following specifications: FUNCTIONS: 1. Mine detecting sets must be capable of detecting mines in SHALLOW water, salt or fresh. If, to detect a mine in shallow water, the mine detector must be partially submerged under water, the mine detector must be capable of doing so without sustaining damage. OTHER: 2. The offerorb efective piece of equipment will need to be shipped. OTHER: 3. Proposals must include on-site instruction sufficient to train users to effectively use the equipment. Instruction will be for approximately 150 users in Poland. Offerors will need to determine, based on their proposed equipment, the duration of , number of classes needed for, and complexity of the training required.
