Description
The Air Combat Command (ACC) Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB, VA intends to award a sole source delivery order to Survival, Inc., 2633 Eastlake Ave. East, Suite 103, Seattle, WA 98102-3231 for the following items: 0001- Contaminant Air Processing System (CAPS) Disaster Preparedness, Part Number 1WR7701-3/DP. Item description: Contaminant Air Processing Systems include those items required by military regulation or civil HAZMAT planning requirements for sustaining chemical, biological, or other hazardous materials processing within a Contamination Control Area. System components include vented shelters, doffing racks, shuffle boxes, doffing hooks, containment floor, containment hampers, sodium hypo chlorite dispenser bottles, OM4 earthen clay bottles, liquid/powder dispenser brackets, shower structure, gray water containment floor, propane fired hot water heater, water pump, drafting hoses, 5000 watt industrial generator, lighting package, re-dress rack, off-gas rack, polybag tube sock dispenser, weapons clearing box to NIJ Level IV, weapons storage box, instruction sign boards, boundary flagging , support stanchions, ground stakes, trash retainer frames, boot removers, decon brushes, CRU-80/AERP guide wires, and operating instruction manuals. Shelter structures shall be two-piece frame design with spider truss and scissors expansion wall frames. Shelters will require no tools for assembly. Rack and shower frames shall be a one-piece construction and capable of integration with all FE and L/P dispenser assembles. Racks shall be capable of processing four processes at one time. Transportable, this systems components shall come in a re-usable container and require no more than three fourths of an aircraft pallet or bin for mobility. This system must be capable of providing bare base processing applications for Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical exposure as well as the ability to interface with hardened shelter systems and Transportable Collective Protection Systems (TCPS). Quantity -- estimated 70. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm-fixed price delivery order utilizing GSA Schedule GS-07F-0003H. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified item, they must respond to this notice before 1200 hrs (EST) on 22 Oct 2001. Offerors responding to this notice must provide proof that their equipment will meet the requirements stated herein. Information must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer and at a minimum include equipment brochures, company literature and documented validation of their system demonstrating that it can process up to 60 persons per hour and will meet the Air Forces objective of standardization. Also include a list of at least three organizations currently using the suggested equipment. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source procurement with Survival, Inc. will be pursued.
