Description

Contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment including ventilation equipment and transportation necessary to perform services per specifications. Remove existing and install new deck covering (various types, Fire Retardant Tile, Abrasive/Scratch Clorine-Firee Tile (Stratica), Ceramic Tile, Quarry Tile, Electrical Grade Matting, Cosmetic Polymeric, Wool Carpet and various deck painting) on board various naval vessels within the Puget Sound WA area. It will be impratical to distribute all applicable specifications with the solicitation.These contract documents may be examined at FISC Puget Sound, or can be accessed and downloaded from website http://puget.fisc.navy.mil/contract.htm. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity , type contract with a guaranteed minimum of $100,000.00. The Government intends to process Multiple Awards under this solicitation. The period of performance will be one year from date of award (12/08/01) in addition to two one year option periods. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Notes 1 and 26 apply. All responsible sources may submit offer/bid, which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound. Telephone requests will not be honored. Requests maybe emailed to mary_j_carkeek@puget.fisc.navy.mil. This solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in a Microsoft Office '97 or Adobe Acrobate (.pdf), and will reside on the World Wide Web server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the Navy electronic commerce page is http://www.neco.navy.mil. Caution: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government will not maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same. =20
