THIS IS A CBD NOTICE ONLY AND NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENT. QUOTES ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED OR ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. CONTRACTORS SHOULD OBTAIN OR REQUEST THE SOLICTATION AS INSTRUCTED BELOW. The U.S. Coast Guard Aircraft Repair and Supply Center (ARSC) intends to issue a Purchase Order on a Sole Source basis to Aerothrust Corporation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Rework/Modification of the following equipment: (7) Each Cable Assy Spec (Eng Harness), PN#CG2062913 to be Reworked and Modified to PN# CG2062913-1; (7) Each Cable Assy Spec (Eng. Harness)., PN# CG2062914 to be Reworked and Modified to PN# CG2062914-1; and Rework of (9) each Engine Harness PN# 2062914-1 Rework is required to be in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications and the OEM Component Maintenance Manual latest revision. The OEM is Mfg Code F6117, Dassault Aviation. The Coast Guard does not own nor can it obtain specifications, drawings, plans or other technical data for rework /modification of this equipment. Requests for specifications, drawings, etc. will be disregarded. The Solicitation document, DTCG38-02-Q-100001, will be available for downloading from FedBizOps at www.eps.gov or can be obtained by faxing or E-mailing a written request to (252) 334-5427 (FAX) dhall@arsc.uscg.mil (E-mail address). Contractors are encouraged to use FedBizOps and can call Denise Hall, Purchasing Agent at (252)335-6143 for assistance. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) is 336413 and the size standard is 1000 employees to classify as a small business. This is an unrestricted procurment (not set aside for small businesses). The RFQ package, DTCG38-02-Q-100001 will be available for download after the closing date (Due Date or Response Date shown above) of this announcement with an anticipated award date of 9 Nov 2001. Contractors shall be able to download, print, and E-mail the solicitation from the FedBizOps website. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to the solicitation which shall be considered by the agency. Sources must have valid Cage Codes and DUNs Numbers or have the ability to obtain one. Quotes may be F.O.B. Origin or F.O.B. Destination, and will be evaluated on the basis of lowest overall cost to the Government. Desired delivery 60 days after receipt of material, required delivery date is 90 days after receipt of material. Delivery shall be to U.S.C.G.
