Description

The Office of Justice Programs intends to modify Contract O.P.-98-C-002 to extend the period of performance of the contract from September 30, 2001 through December 31, 2001. The contract is being extended -- at no additional cost -- to allow the contractor to finalize task order requirements that were performed during Option Year 3 of the contract and during the six-month option to extend service period, which expired on September 30, 2001. The new three-month no-cost extension period and the previous six-month option to extend service period were necessary to allow the contractor to provide conference support and management while a follow-on blanket purchase agreement (BPA) was competed under GSA Federal Supply Schedule 738. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
