The Mason Enterprise Center Procurement Technical Assistance Program at George Mason University and the DOD Pentagon Renovation Program are sponsoring a Small Business Industry Day, Oct. 23, 2001, at the university -- Fairfax Campus, 4400 University Drive, Fairfax, Virginia, in the Johnson Center. Two duplicate sessions are scheduled: (1) Morning Session, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and (2) Afternoon Session, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., registration begins at 12:00 noon. The Industry Day is for small business contractors who are interested in hearing about the Pentagon Renovation Program, including the reconstruction effort. Small business contractors will have the opportunity to meet with prime contractors and their first-tier subcontractors, under the Pentagon Renovation Program, to discuss subcontracting opportunities. The Industry Day is intended for small business contractors in construction, engineering (including A & E services, construction, mechanical, and electrical) information and management technology, furniture installers, and other related trades Although there is no registration fee, all attendees should register for either the morning or afternoon session.
