Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in FAR Subpart 12.6, as suplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-27. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7011/$5 Million. The 89th Contracting Squadron (Andrews Air Force Base) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Holiday Inn for the rental of hotel rooms for the period of 15 ? 19 Oct 01. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. See Note 22. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. The 89th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract on 12 Oct 01. Responses to this requirement must be received no later than 12 Oct 01, 2:00pm, EST. Delivery and finance information will be furnished upon award. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to offerors commercial items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of offers/commercial items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror representations and certifications-commercial items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and conditions -- commercial items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders. All potential contractors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration. Other applicable clauses will be incorporated into the resultant purchase order.
