Description

This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dsccols.com. not sooner than 15 days after this notice is published in the CBD. Request for hard copies of this solicitation will not be accepted. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of solicitation. This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured by (02750) Eaton Aerospace. It will close on or about 05 Dec 01. This solicitation is for an IDC with the following FSC to be covered: 5930. Federal, military and commercial specifications cannot be provided by DSCC. Specification, plans, or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 2 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data; therefore, the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources. Items appear to be sole source to Eaton Aerospace. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be as described in this solicitation. Note 26 applies. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation as applicable, which if timely received will be considered by the agency.
