Description

The Contractor shall provide one sloped six-cage (4 baseball, 2 softball) commercial style standard monopole batting cage, completely furnished and installed including sitework, foundation, fencing, canopy, lighting, debit card system, pitching machines, ball hoppers, elevator, sump pump, and equipment package as defined in the bid schedule. The Contractor shall provide all associated work including, but not limited to site preparation, grading and earthwork to produce a complete and useable facility. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with manufacturer/supplier's plans and specifications which shall be submitted with the priced proposal. Where a conflict with the minimum requirements below and the manufacturer or supplier's proposal exists, the more stringent shall apply. The contract will be awarded using price and past performance information with an anticipated award date of 11 Jan 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The contracting office will accept request for proposals through alternate means (e.g. fascimile machines). *****"This is a nonappropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Governmnet. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This purchase does not involve federal tax dollars."****** The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or around 13 Nov 2001.
