Description

The purchase description (CID A-A-55213) will be used for this item. This acquisition is a firm fixed price for a quantity of 6,800 PRS of gloves. The destinations for this item will be Tracy CA and New Cumberland PA depots. The production lead-time begins 240 days after the date of award (6 delivery increments). This acquisition will also be set-a-side for small businesses only. Anticipated issuance date is November 5, 2001. All materials used in the fabrication are to be furnished by the successful bidder. All responsible sources may submit offers, which DSCP shall consider. The solicitation will also contain DOMESTIC RESTRICTIONS, which means that all components and all manufacuring must be obtained/preformed within the UNITTED STATES. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after (Estimated Date Nov 5, 2001). From the Gateway home page, select "Search RFQs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The FSC and NSN notifications will also contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet.
