- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting environmental service firms to respond to this solicitation for a contract entitled Merrimack River Comprehensive Watershed Assessment Study. This will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity firm fixed price contract. The offeror will be evaluated on professional capabilities, familiarity with water and sediment sampling (chemical, biological, physical), riverine and watershed computer modeling, hydrology and hydraulics analysis, water flow measurement s, ecosystem restoration inventories and assessments, combined sewer overflow and storm water analysis, non-point source and point source mitigation alternatives assessments, environmental regulations, economic analyses, preparation of water quality QAPP s , data management with GIS, and other water resources investigation techniques and analysis useful in geographical and socioeconomic area surrounding New England river basins. The primary study area is the multi-state, multi-city, multi-town and multi-cou nty area adjacent to the Merrimack River in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The successful offeror may also perform similar type planning studies in the six New England states under this contract. This will be a contract with a maximum $2 million dollar base period limit with four $1 million dollar option periods. A minimum of $40,000.00 for the base period and $20,000 per option period is guaranteed. Solicitation shall be made available via the Internet on or about 11/05/01. No paper copies of the sol icitation or amendments will be available. The firms interested must register to receive the solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at http://www.nae.usace.army.mil as well as the media by which the solicitation will be mad e available. Amendments, if any, to this solicitation will be made available at this internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor fax requests will be accepted. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration l ist. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the New England District.
