Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for construction services to perform levee repairs at Emergency Levee Repair Project, Non-Federal Levee, Howard County Levee District No. 6, Item 51C, Howard Count y, Missouri. The work to be performed consists of repairing slope erosion on the levee unit with a landward levee setback, fill placement of approximately 10,317 cubic yards. Surrounding area is currently protected by this Non-Federal levee system. Prospec tive Offerors will be given an escorted tour of the jobsite tentatively scheduled for the week of 14 November 2001 (exact date and time to be determined). Point-of-Contact for site visit is Clifford W. Sanders at 660-338-2278. Offerors shall assemble for t he site inspection at end of State Highway E and County Road Number 220 (approximately 2 miles north of Glasgow Quarries and approximately 3 miles west of State Highway 5). (Note: This is the only tour of the jobsite and offerors will have to contact Mr. Sanders for exact date/time.) This is a total small business set aside. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC for this acquisition is 1629. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 234990. The Small Business size standard for this acquisition is $27.5 million. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated time of completion is 45 calendar days.
