Description

The National Weather Service requires a contract to provide upper air observations at Tucson, Arizona beginning January 15, 2002 and continuing for a one year period, with four options that allow the government to extend the performance for up to four additional years. An observer is required to be on duty from 1030 to 1430 and 2230 to 0230, and soundings shall be taken two times daily, each and every day. Observers must be certified by the National Weather Service. This is 100% small business set-aside. See numbered Note 1.
