Solicitation (RFQ) Number: N00189-01-T-1106 DESCRIPTION: The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Priced Purchase Order for various aerobics courses as required by The Morale Welfare and Recreation Department, Naval Support Activitym Norfolk, VA. The performance period will be for one base year and one option year (2 year potential total). The aerobics services are for the following base locations: Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, VA; Cinclantfleet base, Norfolk, VA; Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, VA; Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA; and Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Norfolk, VA. Specifications for the required contract line items will be detailed in the solicitation. The Government intends to as a 100% small business set-aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 713940 (Standard Industrial Code (SIC) equivalent is 7991) and FSC Code G takes precedence for the subject requirement. The solicitation number for this procurement is N00189-01-T-1106 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 -- Test program for certain Commercial Items (Clinger-Cohen). A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 19 October 2001 by downloading the documents at the Neco Website (or at the FedBizopps site) as follows: http://neco.navy.mil. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
