Description

The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) has a requirement for all labor, materials, and equipment for the removal and replacement, test, and certification of the following: (1) New Vesda LaserPlus Smoke Detector Units -- 4; (2) VRT 200 Remote Display Units for the Air Sampling System -- 4. ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE VESDA. No other manufacture will be considered. Documentation on the new system shall be provided to NIST. Vendor must have operational knowledge on VESDA equipment and programming. Vendor must be able to respond to a service call within a 24 hour period. The specifications and drawings will be made available separately from this notice. You may request them by mail, email, or fax. You may submit your proposal by fax or by mail. Proposal must be received on or before close of business November 5, 2001. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 (NTE $100,000.00) and is SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. Proposals must include period of performance, business size, Federal Taxpayer Identification Number, and Duns and Bradstreet Number.
