Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 9715. This is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS CODE FOR THE RFQ is 562211, $10.(million). The U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command Portsmouth, Va intends to procure and establish a firm fixed price to provide operation of Wastewater Treatment Plant, maintenance, testing, training, monitoring, reporting services, submitting samples for laboratory analysis, and preparation of monthly operation reports in accordance with the NPDES permit for USCG signature. The contractor must be on site daily and respond to emergencies within (4) hours. Contractor must present and submit copies of license Class IV or Higher (VA Certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator). All responsible sources have up to (18) days after publication of this notice to respond. Services are to begin 01 JAN. 2002 and payment will be made monthly in arears. Location of services is USCG Group Eastern Shore 3823 Main St. Chincoteague, VA 23336.
