Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary (USP- Florence), located at 5880 State Highway 67 South, Florence, CO, 81226, intends to award a contract for Dental Assistant Services for federal prisoners. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621399, with a small business size standard of $5.0 million. Services will be provided to (male) federal inmates, inside a Federal prison with a security designation of HIGH. The contract will be awarded with one base-year, with four option years. The Government has unilateral authority to exercise each of four option years. Total contract life is five years, if all option years are exercised by the Government. The estimated annual quantity of sessions is two-hundred (200). Otherwise stated as one, nine-hour session per day, four days per week during Monday through Friday, for fifty-two weeks, less ten Federal Holidays. Anticipated award date of contract is January 15, 2002. The solicitation will be available on or after November 5, 2001, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
