Description

See Note 22. The U.S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, GovWorks and the Redstone Technical Test Center intend to purchase 100 each, Model MA05835-16 250 mWatt S-band Phase-locked Transmitter Modules, and 1 each, Form Factor and Power Amp Adjustment frmo M/A Comm, Inc. of Lowell, MA. These items are being procured for use in small diameter missile research and development programs. Testing will include hardware in the loop tests to evaluate missile systems performance, environmental testing to obtain missile performance data under simulated flight conditions and actual missile firing test performance data. These modules were developed by M/A Com, Inc. under a competed contract with STRICOM. No solicitation exists for this requirement. Shipment will be to the U.S. Army Redstone Technical Test Center, Huntsville, AL within 90 days after contract award on a firm-fixed-price basis to include shipping and handling but no state or local taxes. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing a response to this notice.
