Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for parts for the Electric Power Plant III (EPP-III). The items are as follows: NSN 5945-01-456-5450, Relay, Hybrid, P/N DYN2-80110-2; NSN 3010-01-418-9961, Actuator, P/N DYNC 11001-304-0-24; NSN 2990-01-461-2843, Governor Control Unit, P/N DYNA-10515-001-0-24. The current source for these components is Barber-Colman Co, Aircraft Products Div, Loves Park, IL, Cage 05624. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-EC, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from the listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with an item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the item from the current supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The deadline for response is Nov, 2, 2001.
