Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Regional Office, Albuquerque, NM intends to award a sole source purchase order for a facility access control security system with SCI, Inc., Albuquerque, NM, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This sole source purchase order provides a comprehensive design for an integrated access control, alarm monitoring, and photo ID badge modification to be incorporated into the existing facility integrated access control system. This project will utilize existing and new software, equipment and materials. This sole source award will be made to ensure that all items are compatible and interchangeable with the present system. Under the authority and Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation will be issued. Interested parties should identify themselves in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by COB October 31, 2001.
