The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, the host agency, acts as the worldwide manager for a wide range of aircraft, engines, missiles, and commodity items. Tinker houses Air Force, Naval (Strategic Communications Wing One) personnel and several DoD Agencies. These agencies include (DISA) Defense Information Systems Agency and (DLA) Defense Logistics Agency personnel. Host Group's Name: Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OKALC) Tenants/Audience located at facility: 72nd Air Base Wind, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OK-ALC), 3 CCG, 38 EIG, 654 CLS, 507 AR, DISA, DLA. FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (FAA MMAC) Thomas P. Stafford Building (West Atrium) Oklahoma City, OK Wednesday, November 7, 2001 Facility Mission: As the largest concentration of DOT employees outside the Washington D.C. Area FAA MMAC is a vital service and support facility for the FAA and the DOT. Activities at the Aeronautical Center Include certification, logistics, service, engineering, research, standards and training. The FAA Logistics Center is the central supply organization of the agency. The Logistics Center serves 28,000 FAA facilities worldwide and manages FAA's central inventories and distribution system. Population: 5,000 plus employees, students and contract personnel. Event Purpose: To enhance the Information Technology mission at FAA MMAC and the overall mission of the FAA MMAC Office of Acquisition. Target Audience: This Fall 2001 Technology Exposition will be promoted to all personnel at FAA MMAC with an emphasis on IT and contracting personnel. Fort Sill Officers' Club Ballroom Lawton, OK Thursday, November 8, 2001 Facility Mission: America's Center for fires and home of the Field Artillery. Fort Sill develops, trains, equips, mobilizes, and deploys the force as part of the nation's power projections strategy.
