Description

Synopsis: Sealed bids from all 8(a) eligible business concerns will be accepted for the Rock Creek Park Project PRA-ROCR 18(1), in Washington, District of Columbia. The project consists of the reconstruction and resurfacing of parking areas and roadways serving the Carter Barron Amphitheater and the Tennis Pavilion and Stadium. The work consists of removal of asphalt pavement, roadway construction, placement of aggregate base, hot asphalt concrete pavement (SuperPave), drainage improvements, and other miscellaneous work. This project is being procured for competition restricted to those 8(a) program participants served by the U.S. Small Business Administration=s (SBA) district offices in the Washington Metropolitan area. Contact an SBA district office to determine eligibility. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled for issue on or about November 12, 2001. Bids will be due 30 days after the issue date. Interested parties should telephone 800-892-8776 to order bid documents.
