Description

Solicitation N62836-02-Q-0640. Due 03/December/01. The Contractor shall provide and secure four cranes, lease with option to purchase for U.S. Naval Base, Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan. Minimum requirements: Contract Line Item 0001: Crane, rough terrain mounted, 51 ton lifting capacity, telescope main boom with jib, diesel engine driven, 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer, right hand drive. Three (3) each. Contract Line Item 0002: Crane, rough terrain mounted, 70 ton lifting capacity, telescope main boom with jib, diesel engine driven, 6X4, 4 wheel drive, 6 wheel steer, right hand drive. One (1) each. Contract schedule: Lease period of Base Year starts from 1 May 02. Total four cranes shall be leased during Base Year plus four option years and may be purchased at the end of each year. Requirement for warranty services in Japan. RFQ issue date is o/a 14 November 2001. The item under this procurement is subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
